Called to Care.

Supported to Stay.

Helping healthcare professionals build the support, resilience, and capacity needed to sustain meaningful work and long-term wellbeing.

The People Who Care for Everyone Else Need Support Too.

Healthcare professionals enter this work because they care deeply about people. Whether they are nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, or clinical leaders, they show up with compassion, expertise, and hope during some of life's most challenging moments.

But caring for others comes with an emotional weight. Grief, compassion fatigue, stress, and constant responsibility can leave many wondering how long they can continue.

The challenge is not that they no longer care, but that they have been carrying so much for so long.

Many do not want to leave their work… They simply do not know how to stay.

Supported to Stay exists to help healthcare professionals build resilience, strengthen wellbeing, and stay connected to the work they feel called to do. Through the RESET experience and partnerships with hospitals and healthcare organizations, we provide the support they need to continue caring without losing themselves.

Stay whole.

Stay connected to the work you are called to.

Stay resilient.

As a healthcare professional, you carry responsibilities that most people never see.

You show up for patients, families, coworkers, and communities through some of life's most meaningful and difficult moments. The work you do matters deeply.

That is why we believe you deserve more than a pizza party and encouragement to simply "take care of yourself." You deserve practical support and spaces where you feel seen, valued, and strengthened.

Because caring for others should not require losing yourself in the process.

Our mission is to help you sustain your wellbeing and build the resilience to stay connected to the work you feel called to do.

RESET

RESET is our evidence-based experience designed to support healthcare professionals facing the unique emotional demands of care.

Through practical tools, encouraging conversations and meaningful connection, participants leave feeling supported, encouraged, and equipped with strategies they can immediately apply in their daily lives.

More than an educational event, RESET is an opportunity to pause, take a deep breath, and remember why this work matters.

Bringing Support to More Healthcare Professionals

What started as a doctoral project in Indiana has grown into a mission to support healthcare professionals across the country through evidence-based programs like RESET.

Today, Supported to Stay is working to expand that impact by partnering with healthcare organizations and professional communities who share the belief that the people caring for everyone else deserve support, too.

A Note from Leigh:

Leigh Flegge-Schlie, founder of Supported to Stay LLC.

You have a place here.

Working in oncology is both incredibly rewarding and deeply emotional. As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner with a decade of experience in oncology, I understand firsthand the impact this work can have on those who care for others.

Alongside the privilege of walking with patients and families through some of life's most meaningful moments comes the reality of grief, loss, stress, and the ongoing challenge of continuing to show up with compassion and strength.

Supported to Stay was born from that understanding and from a desire to give back to the healthcare professionals who give so much of themselves every day.

My hope is that through this work, we can support one another, learn from one another, and find practical ways to keep ourselves healthy and whole as we continue to care for others. Because while many of us are called to care, we also deserve to be supported to stay.
